The Marlinyu Ghoorlie Aboriginal Corporation Cultural Awareness Training is an online program that builds meaningful understanding of our Country, culture, and stories through the voices and knowledge of Kapurn Elders and other members of our community.
Designed to be accessible and engaging, this mixed media training provides participants with practical insight into cultural values, heritage responsibilities, and respectful ways of working when youโre on our Country.
The program is structured around key themes includingย Welcome to Country,ย Our Sites and Stories,ย Truth Telling,ย Living and Working on Country, andย Working Together. Each module offers a deeper understanding of the cultural landscape, the significance of heritage places, and the importance of acknowledging shared histories.
Developed for industry, government, and project teams, the training supports culturally informed decision-making and strengthens relationships with Traditional Owners. Through clear, locally grounded content, Marlinyu Ghoorlie Aboriginal Corporation Cultural Awareness Training equips organisations to work respectfully, responsibly, and in genuine partnership on Country.
